Residential Construction Site Supervisor – Pinehurst

What you'll do

• Visit and supervise the Pinehurst construction site each weekday
• Spend approximately three hours at the project site daily
• Monitor construction progress, workmanship, safety, and site conditions
• Confirm that work follows plans, specifications, and project expectations
• Identify construction problems and help determine practical solutions
• Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, vendors, and project leadership
• Keep subcontractors on schedule and follow up on incomplete work
• Document progress with photographs, notes, and daily updates
• Verify that required materials are available when needed
• Report delays, defects, safety concerns, and unexpected conditions promptly
• Maintain an organized and reasonably clean job site
• Assist with inspections, punch-list items, and project closeout

What we're looking for

• General knowledge of residential construction from framing through completion
• Ability to understand framing components such as studs, joists, rafters, and load-bearing walls
• Ability to recognize workmanship problems and construction defects
• Previous residential construction, remodeling, maintenance, or site-supervision experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and competing priorities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to report to the Pinehurst project site every weekday
• Ability to use a smartphone to send photographs, messages, and progress reports
• Ability to walk an active construction site and safely navigate uneven surfaces
• General contractor’s license is not required
